How much will it cost?
The price will depend on the depth of window cleaning you require. Obviously the longer it takes us to complete the job, the more it will cost. All of our window cleaners are very fast while maintaining the highest level of quality. You can use the following window cleaning pricing guide as a general rule of thumb…
2 – 3 bedroom houses, townhouses and apartments generally range from $70 – $150
4 bedroom normal sized houses generally range from $120 – $240
4 – 5 bedroom high end houses generally range from $180 – $240 plus
4 – 5 – 6 or more bedroom, large high end, multi-story homes generally range for $250 – $650 plus
The prices above could be higher if you have louvers, colonials windows and/or a lot of ladder work.
Can you give me an over the phone quote?
Our over the phone quotes will be the same as what is above. If you want the exact price we will need to need to come out and view your house.
How much water do you use?
On most window cleaning jobs we use about 5-7 litres. When the screens are very dirty we may have to use a hose and this will increase our water usage. All our staff are water conscious and always try to minimise the amount of water used when cleaning your windows.
Do I need to be at home when there is a window cleaner at my house?
No you don’t, but it is important that we discuss entry and exit of your home as well as payment method prior to cleaning your windows. If you need to go out for awhile we can also clean the exterior windows during that time.
Do I get a discount for repeat business?
Absolutely, you can expect about a 10% discount off your initial window cleaning service. To take advantage of this discount you will need to have you home cleaned at least 2 times a year.
Are you covered by insurance?
Yes we have public liability insurance cover of 10 million dollars, which allows us to work at heights. We always approach each job in the safest way possible.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
All windows should be cleaned at least twice a year to remain free from stains and damaging objects. Houses by the ocean or high traffic areas require more attention than others. Generally four times a year is realistic.
How do I pay you for the service?
You can pay us by cash, cheque (made to Gold Coast Window Cleaning) or direct deposit at the end of each window cleaning service. If paying by direct deposit:

Do I need to move everything away from the windows before you come to clean them?
No you don’t. Half the time we can clean the windows without moving anything. When we do have to move things we do so with great care.
Do you do builders cleans?
Yes we do! We have been a part of the builders cleans for several top end homes in areas such: Hedges Ave, Albatross Ave, Hope Island and Sanctuary Cove. Because the time taken to complete a builders clean can vary so much we prefer to work on an hourly rate and only in limited circumstances will we fix a quote. Do you use toxic chemicals?
Generally when we’re window cleaning, we only use water and an animal fat-free detergent. In some special cases we may need to use acid based chemicals to remove large amounts of concrete from you glass. It is always a last resort option and must be discuss with you before we use it.
